Dreaming in Bronze

With this collection I was awarded a Cholmondeley Award for Poetry. It was around this time that I started turning to the novel genre --for a change! I had never written any prose up to this point. Plath said a poem is like a closed fist, a novel like an open hand. But I felt I took my poetry on into my fiction.
